82.7 % of Mexicans identify themselves as Catholic. Other Christian denominations constitute about 9.7% of the population. Many ancient religious beliefs were included by the Mexican people , creating an exceptional view of the Christian faith. Those beliefs can be found under many forms, and the rituals are still present as well. There are also Muslims, Jews and Buddhists.
